This is the most lucrative sport in the country. You really dont think the lawyers wouldn't make sure they covered their bases because you think that they had some imaginary axe to grind with the Saints?

Now the league probably realized that Cerullo had no way out and advised him it can't be promised but can be attempted because they knew he would give up the info anyway. The response probably shows a side of negotiation that Aiello doesn't want known but nothing shady I believe.

That sounds very plausible. I really don't think the league would make a deal, but I could see them implying it it might. But, that still doesn't mean that Cerullo didn't sound desperate and wanted to get back at Vitt.

He did sohnd desperate and his reasons for presenting the evidence may have been shallow.

But using his character to dispute his story is purely lawyer talk and understandably so, because thats his job.

By the way, this didn't blow over in a couple weeks. Losing Peyton clearly did matter. Spags isn't better than Nolan. Your defense didn't improve, in fact your defense may go down as the worst in history before it's all done. Brees holdout and contract clearly effected your team. And you were wrong about going 12-4. You're 2-5 and your team is terrible.

I bet if I took the time to go back to page 1 and re-read this thread, I could probably list out a couple dozen more things you've claimed that ended up wrong.

No, they are using this email and his character to get access to him as a witness. The league has been fighting giving them access to Cerullo.

Except that the NFL hasn't "already got several things wrong". You have spun everything to make it sound like they have and claimed a ton of assumption as fact in the process while at the same time completely ignoring anything that makes your side appear wrong.

The fact you think ALL the wrong and ALL the lies are on one side of this and your side is angelically innocent and truthful and 100% victims in this massive conspiracy of ineptness is just beyond delusional.

I mean the convenience of your contentions just doesn't exist in reality. Ever. Never in history has this much convenience supposedly proven a conspiracy of this magnitude. And yet you are drowning in convenience and not for one second acknowledging it. That's just so crazy.
