So Vilma never took $10,000 out of the bank? that's his defense? I haven't taken $40 out of my bank in recent months yet I have $40 in my wallet. Its not unfathomable that he managed to save up $10,000 in cash without ever withdrawing it from the bank. Incredibly weak argument IMO.

Gregg Williams said Vilma put a $10,000 bounty on Favre but he never saw the cash, is that really supposed to be proof that the bounty was never placed?

Vilma's lawyer presented evidence showing that since Vilma has been in New Orleans he has never withdrawn any money from his account that only has ATM access and a $500 limit that would add up to that amount. Also, all of his pay was electronically deposited in his account. So, there was no way possible he could have had access to any where near that amount.

Now, Williams signed a statement that said Vilma put a bounty on Favre, but remember that Cerullo, the proven liar, signed a statement that said that "two stacks of fives" was put on Warner and it was that cash that Cerullo gave to Williams. Who are you going to believe? Either Cerullo or Williams are lying. Or Cerullo is lying and Williams just signed what was placed in front of him to hope to get reinstated.

You don't have to prove that a bounty was never placed. You have to prove that a bounty was actually placed. And this whole thing isn't even about some single supposed bounty.

The whole claim was that the Saints had an ongoing three year program that targeted opposing players for intentional injury.

Can you still buy that bullcrap? Neither can I.
