To make that other player want to quit. It is not to intentionally try to injure a player. But, it is your job to HURT that other player. Anybody that has played the game at any level knows that. You may get squeamish over that, but that is status quo. It is and has always been part of the game and is far removed from bounties. The Davis statement was in the same vein. I am not sure about the meaning of the Crabtree reference, but I seriously doubt it meant go tear up his knee because if it did they had ample opportunity and never did. Don't forget that the Saints had ZERO penalties called on them that game. They played about as clean a game as you could play. Saints Fan Since 1967
