RE: Saints Bounty Thread
Listen, ATLBound, I know you are very intelligent. I know, if you try, you can dig through the crap and see what is coming down.
Three years ago the NFL could give a flying crap if a player got maimed on the field as long as they made the HOLY dollar. The 3000 plus lawsuits changed that philosophy and the sacrificial lamb was chosen ... the Saints. The shit hit the fan, carefully placed by Goodell. Good people who had never done anything more than any other team in the league to promote intensity were now being persecuted. How is it that so many devout Christian athletes on the Saints roster would condone intentionally injuring an opponent. I can't see it, and neither can they. Since when did we as fans, as fans of the players, as those that believed in those that fought on the field for us, those that reigned us in ... since when did we begin to buy into the crap fed to us by the league lawyers? Since when did we begin to believe those people out to protect the league above and beyond protecting individuals were right? All I ask of you is that you take the time to consider the facts, or the glaring absence of them, before you follow the lead of the Mightly And Glorious NFL! Saints Fan Since 1967
