it's no big surprise to me that a saints fan judge would say she wants to rule in favor of her local hero criminal. I have a feeling that if Goodell is forced to show all he knows, it is going to be really really ugly for a lot more people than the ones that have been affected so far. I am NOT a fan of this commish by any means, but I just can't see him doing all this if he didn't feel it within his power and right, esp after having an independent analysis done.

Given that I live in the northwestern corner of the state there is little I can do to help those in need right now. Fortunately, and contrary to your inference, the city of New Orleans is well protected now that the Army Corps has brought the levees up to standard and beyond. The troubles are in areas outside of the city that have yet to bring their levees up to standard.

But, to be honest, freshwater flooding is a danger anywhere along a major river system anywhere in the country as demonstrated by the floods that inundated the Midwest the past couple of years.

As for Goodell, I have a feeling he has already showed everything he has and that is why he has offered Vilma the reduction in the suspension that Vilma declined. Goodell's lawyers are doing everything they can to keep him from having to testify because they know it will look very bad for him.

Common sense time now, papa, if Goodell had anything at all that was solid he would have introduced it by now. To date, it has all been innuendo supported by possibilities and what-could-have-beens.
