He's had his moments of annoyance but like Cooper said it's because of his affliction not because he's trying to stir things up.

I guess we should all be more compassionate. Saints fandom is a horrible horrible disease with no known cure.

Williams and Jeff Fisher, Rams new HC, are good friends and worked together in the past. Belief was that Williams would follow Fisher once he got a new job, unless Williams got a HC job himself. Both Fisher and Williams worked under Buddy Ryan.

Story is getting stranger and probably found the reason why the NFL was sniffing around the Saints. The guy, Mike Ornstein, involved with Reggie Bush, that helped to lead USC to probation, has his hands involved with this situation. He reportedly contributed money to the bounty program and is very close to Payton and the Saints organization. Even after Bush went to Miami.

Contract Termination For Cause

If the bounty scandal becomes a major story, Saints owner Tom Benson may deem it necessary to fire players, coaches and front personnel who participated in it. Those firings could be done "for cause", which would relieve the Saints of any remaining financial obligations on the contract. A for cause firing may be appropriate because the bounty system is arguably criminal and tortious and is clearly outside the scope of any employment contract. It has also caused the Saints franchise serious and potentially irreparable harm.

Criminal?
Not quite.
There will be some fines. They will forfeit some picks, probably this year's first, maybe some suspensions but nothing more. If anyone loses their job its going to be the GM. Sacrificial Lamb of you will.
