I think another thing that needs to be taken into consideration is that the Colts had a whole new coaching staff with a rookie HC and the Seahawks and Redskins didn't have that challenge.

I wouldn't add that on if I was in the position of pleading the case for Luck.

They had something more to fight for besides football that can go a long way and thats Chuckstrong.

No running game, o-line, receivers, defense, or any other factor can amount to the type of motivation that provided and continues to provides.

Sure they had that motivation. But motivation can't move mountains all by it's self if you don't have enough talent.

I agree he has the talent but we were comparing situatiins and u brought up the rookie HC for the colts.

I was just saying the situation the Colts went thru with their HC was more of a positive above the Redskins coaching situation and the Seahawks coaching situation because of the motivation factor.

We all agree that all three QBs have talent

I'm just saying the Colts were a team with a completely new coaching staff. It wasn't like they hired an established HC. They hired a rookie HC. The Seahawks and Redskins both had veteran established HC entering the season.

And I wasn't just talking about Luck's talent. I was talking about the talent around him. The Colts team as a whole is less talented than the Seahawks and Redskins. The Colts gave up like 30 more points than they scored this season. Seahawks and Redskins had much better defenses.

But it is what it is. You can't go wrong with any of the 3 winning it. It's simply amazing to have 3 rookie QBs in the playoffs in the same year.

I take exception to ANY of the three getting MVP....

The entire league has been saying all the amazing things these guys did. Look what Ryan did for this Franchise in year 1 with a first year head coach and GM.....his numbers were not as lofty....but what he did for a team that wasn't suppose to win ANY games (yes we were predicted to go 0-16 his starting year.) But yet he didn't even get real consideration....the fact these three are...and they came under lesser obstacles (Indy was only 2-14, because Manning sat out the year!)....Wash won a few more, Seattle has been in playoffs without Russell (so he isn't doing it alone)

OOPS I was thinking MVP...I have heard some rumblings to that in the last couple of days in the Media.....ROY any of them are worthy for those reasons stated........I would likely go with Luck simply because he broke the rookie passing record....

Guess I was reading too fast and got the MVP and ROY confused....

Ryan was mentioned for MVP also but never given real consideration.....I can't remember where it was I was listening to a few days ago, the guy said he was voting Luck for MVP because he had never seen a QB do more to turn around a team.......then two other guys said that Wilson and RG3 did more

Yeah, the Colts went from 2-14 to 11-5, but how much of that 2-14 season is because the Colts had the bright idea to start Curtis Painter at QB for half a season.
