No, the defense was a joke based upon missing several key components to injury and facing two run option oriented offenses in the first two weeks with a new complicated offensive scheme. The defense, and the team as a whole, improved each of the next three weeks and will, in my opinion, keep improving on both sides of the ball.

The Saints' defense has not been the only that has been RGIII'd, but they happened to be the first and the only ones with no tape on the offense.

It would be foolish to base assumptions on the Saints defense at this point in the season.

^ Wrong your run D sucks wake up, not due to injuries it just sucks. Anyone with football knowledge will admit that. You can't add enough pieces onto a team when a certain player handcuffs you financially and that is and will continue to catch up to you guys.

Our defense has sucked for years and we still win. They just have to do enough to allow the best offense the league has ever seen to score enough points to win.

All laid out, from this point on, I would much rather have my guys than yours.

I know that chest is thrown out BIG now, but the losses will come. How will they be handled? Let's wait and see.

I'm glad you find Lofton so funny. We love him. He is leading the team in both tackles and assists and leads all linebackers in passes defended.
