I wish there was a pic of him signing that deal, that would be a perfect "U MAD?" pic. Obama has less gray hair than that dude.

Seven solo tackles and two assists including a key sack? I'm feeling pretty good about that. Finley did catch three passes tonight, but that's not that damaging overall. Saints Fan Since 1967

If you feel good about the way Roman Harper played last night....well....I guess you feel good about the Pack holding them to 42 points too. He had more issues than Finley in coverage. And he got trucked by James Starks twice, which was completely hilarious. |

If you want to see how a Safety is supposed to play, watch William Moore on Sunday. He'll school ya boy Roman on what playing Saftey is actually about. WOOHOO 7 tackles and 1 sack in a game where he blitzed I dunno 14 times or so. Dude is a S-C-R-U-B SCRUB. He can't cover anything, and yeah Finley only had 3 catches, but Green Bay really let off the accelerator and almost cruised their way to letting you guys back into the game. Was an amazing night for the NFL and a spectacular way to kick off the regular season. Tons of highlights (most of which you'll see Harper screwing up) tons of offense, scores on special teams including 108 yard return (btw how the hell you guys let up a 108 yard return?) and little to no defense from either team. I do have to admit Sproles looked really good out there tonight. Better than I was expecting, but at the same time they were using AJ Hawk against him a lot, which made him look insanely fast and shiftier than normal. The Punt return was amazing blocking, pretty sure I could have run that one back. Oh, and btw, our punter makes the tackle there. So don't count on that ish against us. |

Don't get me wrong. The Saints are a very good team with a lot of great players. It's just that they wasted on that money on Roman Harper. They could have gotten what he provides from a minimum wage guy.
Look at the Jordy Nelson TD. The Pack went straight at Harper and Harper was lying on his face when Nelson caught the ball. Then look at the Cobb TD catch. They targeted Harper directly and he got cooked in a most spectacular way. Dude was burnt to a crisp on that play. Then look at the Starks TD run. Harper was the last line of defense and Starks ran through him like he was made of paper. So yeah....I am getting a pretty good laugh about that contract. It was a bad move. |

Gah, the more I think about it the more I can't wait to see Roman Harper twice a year for the next 4 years. Dude has given up 5 touchdowns in the last 2 games he's played. Friggin SWEET.

Harper looked out of place on many of those plays. This is the beginning of the year, so I'm sure his play will improve. However, looking at how GB was functioning it didn't look like they need to warm up any.
