I'm really trying to give you the benefit of the doubt but you're getting worst man....lmao. Why would Goodell have it out for the Saints? I don't get it. If other things were punishable then what makes you think he wouldn't do anything about it? Is it the fact that 2 years ago he offered the Saints a way out and they didn't take it? |

Be careful what you wish for Guido. Congress gets involved, they are going to take a hard stance against contracted assault perpetrated by your boys, and you might be looking at jail time instead of suspensions. Congress is a nightmare for you. Those televised hearings would drag out dirt that would make even you change teams.

They are wanting to start digging into what has been happening elsewhere, with King Goodells' knowledge, that was not prosecuted. If Goodell laid the hammer down on the Saints, the biggest media darlings ever, why would he ignore something from elsewhere?!? Are you serious????

Why would Congress get involved?
What dark secrets are buried in the NFL? The only thing that comes close is the near monopolistic hold the NFL and DirectTv have on the Sunday Ticket and Congress more than once said they won't investigate that. DirectTV has some deep pockets. The Saints fucked up plain and simple. The are paying the worst price ever for a team and if they want to deny it and think its them against the world than more power to them. Whatever. Either way we still have to beat them twice this year. I assume we will. |

I have a feeling one day you are going to pull your head out of your rear end and begin speaking as a normal person does when confronted with outrageous activities. But if I take some Maalox, that feeling passes, much as your thoughts do. |

Smh Because of this: Meddling in sports is routine for Congress "Roger Goodell, commissioner of the National Football League, and his staff don't have a firm enough grasp on how to run their business. They need help from Congress. Lucky for them, Sen. Dick Durbin has raised his hand and volunteered. Durbin, D-Ill., plans to convene a gathering of a Senate Judiciary subcommittee to investigate bounty systems in the NFL." Saints Fan Since 1967

Democrats. Trying to show that they care, when its just a publicity stunt in an election year.
The NFL wont bow down like MLB did.
