Anything short of an all-time franchise QB means that organization is being gutted if it doesn't materialize. Considering the fact that it's the Redskins, things don't bode well for them here. It's true. It will be extra hard for them to build around him with no first rounder for the foreseeable future, and a sub-par at best track record with free agents. ![]()

RGIII's only hope is for Shannahan to get shit canned after their inevitable disappointing upcoming season.

that whole team has a fuck it attitude too...a move like this would need to accompany an overhaul and they gave up a good chunk of picks that would've helped with that.

This is a hell of a trade.
Since a lot of 1st rounders don't pan out any more they aren't giving up that much. But since the cost of a first rounder is so little nowadays they seem to be giving up too much. If the Colts take Griffin then Luck would have a hard time in Washington, the media spotlight is too much there. |

I will never forget fat Albert getting pancaked, and then just laying there not even trying to get up, I know he isn't there anymore, but yeah that play about sums up how I feel about the physicality of the skins. ![]()

RE: Redskins trade with Rams for #2 overall pick
What's going to be hillarious is if Indy takes RGIII and Washington gets Luck, who ends up sucking in the cold outdoors.
Personally I think RGIII is better than Luck. After seeing the combine and how smart RGIII really is, he's the best QB I've seen come out of college in a very long time. As close to a sure thing as I can remember. I don't get the sure thing vibe from Luck. The Rams are the ones making out the best in this whole thing though. Like WAY better than Cleveland made out on us because Washington is still going to be a bottom 10 team for a while. The Rams will likely have a top 10 AND a top 15 for the next few years. |
