How is this calculated? I manually did strength of schedule and Steelers had by far the hardest schedule according to wins and losses.

You get more for winning on the road and it hurts more to lose at home.

Our only two losses have been against two elite teams on the road, while everyone else has dropped some games at home or lost against weak teams.

Radical is right, take a teams home wins and multiple them by .6, their road victories by 1.4. Losses are 1.4 at home and .6 on the road. take the winning percentage from that number and it equates for 25% of the score.

For strength of schedule, take all opponents records and subtract results against a the team. So the Falcons opponents are 50-50-0 on the year, but 48-42-0 without their games versus Atlanta. This version of the strength of schedule equates for 50% of the score.

For the last 25%, take the combined record of all of your opponents opponents and get the winning percentage.

The top three teams this week then break down as follows:
Code:
RK    Team            W      L      T      PCT     W     L     T     SOS     W     L     T    ASOS      W      L     T    O-OPP     RPI
1     Atlanta        7.2    1.2    0.0    0.857    50    50    0    0.500    48    42    0    0.533    509    491    0    0.509    0.608
2     New England    7.2    1.2    0.0    0.857    48    52    0    0.480    46    44    0    0.511    539    461    0    0.539    0.605
3     Pittsburgh     7.4    3.4    0.0    0.685    57    43    0    0.570    54    36    0    0.600    498    502    0    0.498    0.596
