NFL: Playoff Seeding

We will play the team with the worst regular season record that makes it to the second round of the playoffs.

I believe that we will play either the Vikings or the winner of the Redskins/Cowboys game.

We will play the lowest remaining seed. If the Vikings beat the Packers, we get the Vikings. Otherwise, we get the winner of the Seahawks vs. Redskins/Cowboys game.

With this read option the redskins run how come no DLinemen just unloads on the QB even if he ends up handing off to the HB? surely running a fake takes you out of the protection rules for QB's ? doesnt it?

It doesn't matter right now because RG3 is a non factor running with his knee injury. I'm really surprised he's even playing because he's having that much trouble moving around.

This is a must win prime time game. This game was moved to 8pm. There is no way RG3 doesn't play. The NFL made sure of that.

So how come the Broncos are a top seed and the pundits are basically putting them in the Super Bowl but the falcons are a top seed and everyone talks about how top seeds never get to the Super Bowl any more?

Because Peyton Manning is your father while the Falcons hail from Atlanta, in the south, or down below the other NFC teams. And we all know who comes from down below.
