Well his post season performances the last 2 seasons have been great. Actually it's last 3 seasons that have been very good. 2010 - 41/64 (64.1%), 390 YDS (6.1), 3 TD, 1 INT - 90 QB Rating 2011 - 36/63 (57.1%), 482 YDS (7.7), 4 TD, 1 INT - 96.1 QB Rating 2012 - 51/93 (54.8%), 853 YDS (9.2), 8 TD, 0 INT - 114.7 QB Rating That's 3 straight years of steady improvement in the playoffs to where he's completely blown it up this season. ![]()

There's talk about the Ravens only being able to keep one of them. So if Kruger hits the market would you want the Falcons to pay big money to get him? I sure would. He would be another piece needed if the Falcons are indeed switching to a 3-4 base defense. I would love for us to get Kruger, but his asking price may be way too steep. Ellerbe I'm glad hes done so, well, hes a free agent from UGA, he didn't get drafted. But I think were set at safty, but at linebacker, he might be a good fit, probably would be cheaper than Kruger Will be.

I think he's more important to the Ravens with Lewis retiring than Kruger is with Suggs and Upshaw on board. ![]()

RE: Paul Kruger
Kruger posted regular season career-highs in tackles (42) and sacks (nine), and is reportedly seeking a contract in the $40 million range. His stock is on the rise after emerging on the national stage with a postseason flurry. Kruger graded out as a top-seven 3-4 outside linebacker in 2012 by Pro Football Focus.
This and this reason alone will keep him from joining us....Though if TD could get him to accept something smaller.....it would be interesting.... It would be fun to bring in some of these guys and perhaps a few veterans that have maybe 2 years left in the tank (perhaps some just looking for the best opportunity to win a SB)....and see if we can strike hard this upcoming year and have some of these vets teach these younger guys..... Could you imagine if we could get like 4-5 guys for peanuts because they want a championship....That would be a nice superbowl story! |

Sounds like the same talk that boosted Ray Edwards too the second best Free agent DE a couple of seasons ago. Take away Ngata, Sugg, Reed, Ellerbe, and Ray lets see how good he is. I am a little weary of Ravens players because they're very well coached and scheme system specific. Visions of Ed Hartwell still torment me. |

Visions of Ed Hartwell still torment me. You do know that Reed, Suggs and Lewis all missed most of this season when Kruger had his best season right? Kruger isn't just a "product" of the Ravens defense. This kid can play and would easily be the best pass rusher on the team. Yes even better than Abe because Abe is DONE. ![]()

Bart Scott, Adalius Thomas, Jamie Sharper, Ed Hartwell, all looked like beast in that organization. I could be wrong or it could be a trend. You are either the driver or just along for the ride. ![]()
