You could lose your DC, every defensive coach (not just your LB), and your entire starting 11 and your homer ass would sit here and tell us you think you're defense will be improved and fully capable of dominating in the SB. Then again, I guess since you were ranked 24th in total defense last year while your offense was ranked 1st and had the highest time of possession in the league (meaning your defense was on the field less than any other team in the league), I guess up is the only place for your defense to go. |

Coach Spags is already bringing in players that can handle his defense while letting those that can't go free. Williams was quickly becoming unpopular with Saints fans over the past two years with that "defense" he was throwing out there. Whatever sanctions come down on players aren't likely to cause the team to perform any worse than they did last year on the defensive side of the ball. Saints Fan Since 1967

He has apologized for it happening under his watch and takes full responsibility. But, if you check back to every statement from both Loomis and Payton, neither has said that they "knew it was going on". Gregg Williams is the only one who has admitted to being knowledgeable of the fact a player could be rewarded for knocking players out of games. Ummm the evidence showed that Payton received an email telling him that $5000 (forgot the actual amount) was placed on Rodgers for the 2011 Season opener between the Saints and Packers. When this email was brought up to Payton, Payton then confirmed that the email was referring to a bounty being placed on Rodgers. So yes, he did know about it. |

I did that a while back when I stated I would pull for a team of ex convicts that were coached by Adolf Hitler in a game against the aints. As it turns out now, it looks like the felons and Hitler may have higher moral character than the aints anyway. |

RE: Not to just beat a dead horse...
Love the defense that it wasn't much money and that very few players actually got injured playing against the Saints.

No, the Saints should have to pay and have. Nobody with half a brain is arguing that point. I swear, I can't wait until every bit of supposed evidence that Goodell claims to have goes public.
