I know I love reading the "rankings", but I have learned (or tried to learn) that it doesn't make one ounce of difference what any of the talking heads say. They could say that we are the worst team in the NFL, and would probably be beaten by the Jacksonville State Gamecocks, but in the end not one thing they say matters.

Here is what matters...The Falcons are in first place in the NFC South, and tied for the best record in the NFC. If our boys do their job, we have a legitimate shot at home field advantage in the playoffs, which statistically gives us a huge opportunity to make it to the Super Bowl. I don't care how convincing or lackluster our wins have been...they have been wins and that is all that matters!

So all the "experts" can say whatever they want...in the end the results will come from the field!

Big Ben didn't look much better than a 3rd string QB. Pittsburgh has been winning games because of their D, not O.

did i say that? i could make a similar excuse for new orleans not beating us. so what?

point is, somebody thinks the saints are better than us. so what who cares? i think we are about even as teams. i dont see how either one is better than the other at this point. if you want to get technical about it though, new orleans is the one who has actually beaten a playoff caliber team. and youre getting butthurt because not everyone is on the falcons bandwagon after beating an average cincinnati team? im just sayin calm down and look at it in perspective.

they are still a tough team regardless, and new orleans beat them. if pitt played us this week and lost, everyone around here would be pounding their chests about how weve proven we can beat the best and yada yada yada. im just sayin.
