Moss a 49er
Just a one year deal.

Moss is an upgrade there and will make them that much better.

Worked out for the Saints and 9ers, I wonder if Bountygate played a role in his choice.

Can't imagine he'd be a factor there...he goes deep and they aren't a vertical team. Much like our shitty line, they can't hold a pocket for a vertical offense either.

It's possible. By all accounts he had a "great" workout in NO (media hype?), then goes to SF where Harbaugh threw to him and they're working on a deal to extend Alex Smith . . . I'd say bounty-gate had an effect.

Marques Colston and Randy Moss have the same agent, Joel Segal. The 49ers had been interested in Colston until the Saints worked out Moss. Suddenly, the 49ers sign Moss and the Saints are about to finalize a deal to retain Colston. Interesting, huh?

I'd say "bounty gate" had zero impact on Moss going to the 49ers. The fact is that the Saints players appear to be rallying around the venom being thrown their way. Remember what happened after spygate ... the Patriots ran off 18 straight wins.

Well it's a shame that the saint's players have had their poor little feelings hurt by reactions to a thoroughly documented bounty system.

There is that way to look at it.

or

Remember what happened after dogfightgate?

I'm sure you do being a rival fan and all, but in case you forgot, the team imploded on a gigantic very public scale.

We got extremely lucky to get the Smith/Ryan/Turner combo or else we would still be feeling the fall out from that mess.

The big difference is that with the Vick incident y'all lost arguably your best player and your locker room was split.

What the Saints have gone through is not the type of thing that would splinter a locker room. On the contrary, this type of thing can strengthen the bond between the players. I follow most of the Saints on twitter and communications have really become extremely positive among them. I think it will even have a positive affect on keeping several high profile free agents as Saints.
