RE: Mike Mularkey is an candidate for the Jags Head Coaching job
I don't like Bratkowski, we might as well keep Mularkey. I don't see Brat fixing our issues. I look at how the Bengals offense wasted Palmer, and made Ocho and Housh virtually useless when they went to new teams. If we don't bring in someone who can utilize our talent in a rhythm based, quick strike passing offense, that gets playmakers in space, we are stuck where we were with Mularkey.
I'll take Clements, Morningwheg, or anyone with a solid WCO background. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_3CXS04cy...re=related |

RE: Mike Mularkey is an candidate for the Jags Head Coaching job
ok i can't think of the guys name, but there was some talk after 08 when we were all worried that both our coordinators were gonna get HC jobs. he was Ryans OC at BC i think a year or so. anyone know who i'm talking about?
i'm with pauli 100% on this one. we need someone, regardless of scheme, who can and WILL use the weapons we've got. ALL of em.... we also need some coaches who can kick some player ass when they continuously screw up (see White, Roddy - dropped passes and stupid penalties, 2011) Chew on THAT, Petunia!

We should trade some of the few left future first rounders we have for Peyton Manning and make him out OC

His history of fail is well documented without all-world talent available. Matt Ryan Roddy White Michael Turner Tony Gonzalez Ovie Mugelli Tyson Clabo We had 9 Pro-bowlers on the team last year. Clearly you were referring to Martz being the perfect fit for this team.

I like the idea of Ryan in a WCO scheme. He's good at getting the ball out quick and putting it where it needs to be.
I'm intrigued by Tom Clements a lot. Invest in the trenches with high draft picks and we will see both sides of the ball vastly improve.

You aren't talking about Jeff Jagodzinski are you? He was there HC there, and some other guy too. Tom O'Brien was the Head Coach there when Ryan first showed up. Those are the only two guys I know of from BC. Jagodzinski would be cool though, I just want someone who will, like some guys said earlier, let Ryan dictate tempo and flow. Kinda like Manning did, that's when he's most effective to me. Right now Ryan might be the best no huddle QB in the league (Manning's out) so why not play to the kids strengths. Surely Mike Smith sees and realizes this to make it happen. |

Obviously he did something right with Palmer, because he was slinging it with the best with them before he broke his leg and the place turned into a circus. I don't see how you can blame the OC for Chad and TJ stinking it up elsewhere though. |
