If that's the case, then it means we hired Mike Martz. Which means year two will also be "transitional." Which means year three will be a rebuild coming on the heels of a house cleaning.

If we get the OC hire right, the improvement should be as significant as it is immediate.

First of all, YAY!
Second... how does Mularkey get credit for those 2 points? (from the Jags board...)

I've always thought he might be a good fit. Maybe depends on what he has to work with, but he's no slouch, either.

Used to wonder if that hurt us at all this year. But, bah. Everyone had the same time, so whatever.

I'm really tired of waiting, though. Glad Smitty is still here, and I truly hope this will make a positive difference. Wasn't sure, still not sure, whether we lost anything in BVG. He's always been a mystery to me, but can't say I'm disappointed he left, either.

Yet another fine reason to say no.

I think it hurt us. Every team had the same amount of time maybe we didn't use ours as wisely as others. I think having a full off season for Julio is going to work wonders, and that's a scary thought.

Feels like it. Better actually because I don't have a mess to clean up.
