So far, it's gone from secular, then subverted by Christianity, and now it's being pulled back to the founding secular system. Believe it or not, our Founding Fathers weren't writing the Constitution with one hand and flipping the pages on their Bibles with the other. |

I'm not saying they were or that it can equal out, but he simply asked what was wrong with majority rule and my response was that if there was a majority rule that had any favor towards an atheist way of thinking then I'm not too sure that you would consider it a problem. This is purely a hypothetical thought. Nothing aginst you but that's generally the case for anybody. They usually dislike a certain way until it favors their way of thinking. Now that the situation has changes most people way of thinking. |

This is purely a hypothetical thought. I'm strictly looking at it from a Constitutional standpoint. Objectively, this nation was founded with a secular government in mind, and over the years that has been messed with. I just don't see how anyone can realistically argue that the way things have played out over the years have been Constitutional. It's easy to play it off as bias, but there simply isn't an argument that justifies what we've done with Israel, blue laws, down to the changes we've made on our money if you believe in following the Constitution. In this sense, this is why I'd vote for Ron Paul. We disagree on plenty of things, the guy is a Christian and isn't even sure on evolution, but at least he's consistent and truly wants to go by the Constitution. |

If teams would stop playing prevent in the 4th against him then his comebacks would cease. Belichik knows better.

He asked a question about majority rule and I feel if the tables were turned it wouldn't be a problem. That is all. Understand that majority rule is constitutional as well. |

I can make strawman arguments about Mao and Stalin being staunch atheists during their path to destruction, but why should I hastily assume that not believing in God leads to genocidal Communism? I guess two can play that game... Mao and Stalin did not commit their atrocities in the name of atheism. The Crusades, the Inquisition, witch burning, abortion clinic bombings, the list goes on and on... all committed in name of Christianity. Nobody is making assumptions. Christianity is directly responsible for millions of deaths and countless amounts of suffering throughout history. It's a statistical fact. I've never heard a single account of someone being killed or tortured because they rejected atheisim. Sorry, but two can't play that game. |

So who gives sanction to the Christians...the Bible, God (of which you don't believe in), Pastor???? The Bible can interpreted multiple ways based on the person reading it God - you don't believe in Pastor - is another human, not actually Christianity Anybody can claim to be a Christian and not actually be one just like Tigz can claim to be someone other than Swift...lol. |
