RE: Listen to Tim Tebow’s comeback against the Bears
Sounds to me like you have a predisposed notion and are just finding ways to support that notion.
I don't share any of Tebow's religious beliefs but that doesn't mean it's impossible for him to actually be what he seems to be, even though many religious figures in the end turn out to be revealed as hypocritical doucebags. For me, like anyone else I'm giving Tebow the benefit of the doubt until he gives me a reason not to. |

RE: Listen to Tim Tebow’s comeback against the Bears
I found it impossible not to like the guy after watching that, but I can see from others that it still is possible lol.
My favorite part was when the Broncos were getting their ass kicked and his QB coach was telling him "Why do we always have to do this" and Tim put his hand on his shoulder just as laid back as he could be and said "It's alright. Well figure it out man". And his treatment of Demaryius Thomas.........you can see why the guys teammates love him. That's the attitude you want right there, calm and confident. I've doubted the guy as much as anybody, but if he gets his pocket footwork corrected, he's going to be something to deal with for a long time. |

RE: Listen to Tim Tebow’s comeback against the Bears
I find it very curious that Tebow sparks so much discussion.... I have actually met Tebow twice.. after The Worlds Largest Cocktail party.. (It is too !) and I gotta say I have never seen or heard him act any other way that what y'all saw on the video.. as a life long DAWG fan.. I couldn't even bring myself to hate him very much...
Tho I wanted to while he was a Gator.

RE: Listen to Tim Tebow’s comeback against the Bears
This guy mixes like oil and water when it comes to society as we know it today and the inherent cynicism that comes with it. Any time we're exposed to someone who comes across as, "perfect" as he does, we're just waiting for the image to come melting off to reveal a rotten core underneath. We're waiting for his personality to be exposed as an act.
You think the media is overbearing now, wait until the guy slips up, real or perceived. Right now, we're witnessing the build up, and the vindictive side to many out there are just dying to see him burn down. It's almost surreal. |

that calm he has on the sidelines...it permeates through the whole team...that shit is scary good for a team.

"Hey man, you're about to catch the game winner here in a minute." I can't help but shake my head and smile at this kid. Makes me proud to be a man of faith.

Another thing that bugs people about him is how people associate his personality as being tied in with his faith. As if he wouldn't be such a good person if it wasn't for his religious beliefs.
