NFL: Listen to Tim Tebow’s comeback against the Bears

Guy bust his ass to become a football player.

For money, like so many? For girls? For fame?

No. Because it gives him an opportunity to use that position to build a hospital in a poor country, and support a school in another.

How can you be surrounded with the excesses of many pro athletes (selling and doing drugs, fighting dogs, "making it rain") and not stand up and applaud the example this young man is setting? I'm proud of the Falcons, and the example Matt and co set for my kids - though no athlete SHOULD be a role model, they often will have an impact - and am happy many can look to Tebow and have a similar fondness for his character.

True story... My daughter mentioned today, out of the blue, unprovoked, how nice it was that Matt married his college girlfriend instead of going after women who wanted him for money. I'm proud that Matt's good decision making was a positive for my daughter in a way I never would have even noticed.
