You think I'm a UGA guy? If so, then you are mistaken in more than just your assessment of Stafford.

He threw for over 5000 yards for a reason. All those yards didn't just go to CJ. Joey Harrington is like damn near bottom of the barrel. It's not that difficult to recognize your exaggeration.

When did anybody recognize him as the best thing ever or even compared Stafford to anybody? We just recognize that he has talent. Nobody ever established how much talent he has but it's for damn sure better than Joey Harrington.

I despise UGA and have always been a Yellowjacket fan, and I can wholeheartedly admit that Matthew Stafford is a terrific QB who will be a star in this league for a very long time. Calvin Johnson helps, but a receiver doesn't make a quarterback. People will be saying the same thing about Matty when Julio is banking back-to-back 1500 yard seasons in the near future.

My fellow Jackets have spoken, I was out of line with the Joey Harrington comment, I'll take it back and admit I was wrong, on a side note, you guys sure do hate Joey Harrington huh?

I'm not sure how a top ten WR thread became about Stafford, I might be some to blame for that, sorry.

In closing, I think it should be a given that Calvin is a top 10 lock, and firmly in the top 5.

I think the blame is mine. I said CJ could possibly be better than Jerry Rice and brought in the factor of how it's different when Montana is leading one of the greatest teams of all time, and how Montana made Rice better because of it.

I'm not saying that Rice isn't one of the greats, but I'm saying that having a great QB makes players play better.

As a QB, the guy literally had not a single redeeming quality I can think of, not one. He was painful to watch.
