I love the Saints next 2 games...LOVE IT
The Giants, Lions and Bears are the competition for the wild card. The saints have the Giants and Lions in their next 2 games. If the Saints win, it greatly improves our WC chances, if they lose It greatly improves our division chances. Either way, their next 2 games are going to help us w/ our playoff chances so no matter the outcome it is great. Winning the division would be ideal, but lets face it...The NFC-S wont get a 1st round bye any way so it isn't very substantial. Based on these games alone I can see us being able to get in.

We will not need to concern ourselves with the division title or even a WC spot if we keep playing like this. If the Saints lose at least 1 out of their next 2 (which is very feasible and more likely against the Giants), but the Falcons also lose in the process, it will not matter. We need to get our shit together on offense man.

I cannot complain about the defense. Our defense held them to less yardage than we got against them. I know points matter, but our "explosive" offense has no identity it seems and cannot score TDs. Even today we could have won. Our offense has become the Achilles heel of this team and it is pissing me off. I am tired of their inconsistency and foolishness.

Actually the Giants will win their division, so our competition would be the Cowboys and not the Giants.

I am expecting the Saints to be around a 7 point favorite against the Giants.

crazy thing we've had the highest rated national games this year if i'm not mistaken, if not the most damn near at the top. so i expect this MNF saints falcons (i put the saints first because they're the recent winners and deserve their propers for now) fuck them thhough.

if the falcons take care of business from here on out there's a chance we could be this years GBP

the julio injury was also a blessing in disguise. we now know we can go to HD and Julio whenever we need to get a play. that makes 4 legitimate threats teams have to game plan for. now that mularkey sees what all our skill players can do, it's up to him ryan and smith to come up with game plans that utilize all of these playmakers talents in a single game like the packers are able to do in a single game.

That's good analysis. If Ryan and HD can establish a good rapport, we could really do some damage on offense. I think we need to focus more on spreading the ball around instead of trying to get it into certain people's hands at a given time. I'll take HD in the slot any day of the week.
