Well, Ryan is the biggest problem with Ryan. The offensive line is the biggest problem with the offense, and has been since 2009.

Maybe I should take a page out of tigger's book and bump up some of those old threads in which I held forth on this ongoing O-line issue while fending off counter arguments from certain posters who insisted instead that the mere presence of a stud WR was the miracle elixir that would magically "stretch opposing defenses" and solve all our offensive woes.

Something tells me such a thread wouldn't remained unlocked for very long.

Well I'm just saying....you already proudly posted a link in this thread where you clearly outlined the reasons why Ryan is the problem.

So..I don't know. I guess I am confused on your view point.

I think he meant that Ryan is the problem with Ryan, but the biggest issue with our offense is the line. A lot of problems Ryan has he has to look at himself to correct, but our offenses primary issue right now is the line. When we consistently cannot get half an inch when it matters, be it a run up the middle or a QB sneak, you aren't going all the way.

I posted that link merely to provide an example of how one can be critical of Ryan (or any Falcon employee, for that matter) without using inflammatory rhetoric. Pride had nothing to do with it.

The title of this thread implies that those of us who took exception to tigger's post did so only because he was critical of Ryan, which is nonsense. We took exception to it because it was self-serving and provocative.

I shudder to think how putrid our offense would have been last year without Ryan.

To be fair its kinda hard not to hate on a guy likes to present opinion as fact and that argued Alex Smith was better than Ryan because he threw a TD against the Giants.
