Your team has been disgraced and you should feel anger towards the Saints for disgracing your city and the league. Stop defending them like this and stop splitting hairs. I will never stop defending my team, nor should I. The city is not disgraced at all. You'll see more support than ever for the Saints this year. The league has disgraced itself for they way they have handled this over the years. Saints Fan Since 1967

I have yet to understand how the same league that gave the Saints passes and warnings to shut the operation down without a punishment is disgraced here. The Saints failed to comply so how is the blame being deferred? |

Are you brainwashed to the point you don't see that problem with what the Saints did? Still trying to blame the NFL for all the rules the Saints broke and all the lying and cheating they did? Lying and cheating that has been ADMITTED to after the fact. Let me make it clear, the lying and cheating is factual and the parties involved have admitted to it so there is no question of guilt. Your team orchestrated probably one of the widest reaching corruptions in spots history. The wasn't a few players gambling, or a player murdering dogs this was an entire Franchise engaged in activities that completely broke league rules AND tried to cover it up AND continued doing it after it got caught. This scale off corruption just doesn't happen with pro sports teams and the Saints are now the example of it. |

And, yes, with a bounty program an injury could occur, but to say the intent was to go out and end a career is asinine. It is the goal of every defensive player to hit someone so hard that it affects their play. But, no player, bounty or not, would ever go out to try to end a career. That's just plain stupid. LOL, you're being a naive, blind, ignorant homer all completely on purpose now aren't you. Some of these NFL players are down-right thugs who if they didn't have obsessive workouts expending boundless energy and the satisfying of overwhelming sadistic tendencies, would be like every other dangerous criminal rotting in a jail for some atrocious violent crime. The only reason some of these guys don't step over the line is because they're not so stupid to throw away their lottery ticket. But to think none of them thrive on inflicting as much harm on others as they possibly can and to the extreme limits that they can afford without getting in trouble is what's asinine. |

The capacity to hurt other players is part of the mindset most players. But even you can't say that the intent is there, even in the craziest of players, to intentionally try to end a career. You are absolutely right! Saints Fan Since 1967

If I were u I would cheer on my team but there is no way I could place blame on anybody else other than the Saints for the events that has occurred. I don't see how u could either. Where is it understood that you're not standing behind your team if you admit to them doing wrong at any point? |

Once again, you are not one that I have the problem with. The Saints did wrong and deserve to be punished. No one is to blame expect for them of that fact. But, what is wrong is to crucify the team and its fan base so far beyond that punishment over unfounded rumors and media hype. As opposing fans I can see why you would hope and expect the worst. Those vial Saints players are criminals and so much different from our players. I'm sorry, but I just can't buy that. Even during the worst of the Vick debacle I never took it out on the fans, nor did I blame the organization itself. That was all brought upon you by one man. Gregg Williams brought this upon the Saints. There is thought that the union is considering the fact that players were pressured by Williams to comply and that they will fight to defend the players. Payton was absolutely wrong if he let any of it go on, especially after a warning. He got what he deserved, even if a little obsessive. Saints Fan Since 1967
