Sorry, but we as fans had no say in what went on. Oh, and believe me, the Saints fans have had a chip on their shoulders way, way before Katrina.

I was a student at LSU and just beginning my first semester as a student when Katrina hit. I can tell you for a fact that no one gave a rat's ass about the Saints when they were playing in Tiger Stadium. The stadium was mostly empty because your fans are just as fair weathered and fickle as any other fanbase in the NFL.

My second point was that the Saints have enjoyed favorable officiating when playing in the Superdome, and this is likely to subside due to the Saints now being under the microscope.

The stadium was mostly empty because the whole region was in shambles. There were no hotel rooms available anywhere south of Alexandria. Are you serious? How can you criticize fans for not showing up in droves from all over the Gulf region when you had nowhere to stay and no way to get there - I10 was still closed to the east. Fair weathered and fickle? Hell, kid, I live up in Bossier City and we were still dealing with so much collateral from the storm that there was no way that I could try to drive down the day of the game and return after.

It doesn't mean we weren't fans.

First they are two separate issues and bets... There is no way a Saints game during regular season doesn't carry a mention of the Bounty gate in some form or fashion...

Hell they still talk about Vick and Pigtrino from time to time with regards to Atlanta...

Regarding the Bounty Gate bet... you know there is no way any pair of announcers is not going to mention it during a 2012 season broadcast at some point during the game... No way. Admit that now and we'll let that one go.

So here is the deal...

1st Atlanta/Saints Game... loser displays the other's sig of choice till game 2....

2nd Atlanta/Saints Game.... loser displays the other's sig of choice till season end...

3. Team that finishes highest in division... loser adds the the other's sig of choice till team that finishes highest in post season is final... (assuming both teams go)

4. Whoever finishes highest in post season wins and the loser displays that sig until the first day of the 2013 season....

Basically the sigs come out after the first match up and stay or swap based on the team's final record and standings...

Traditional banner size image worded as the other see's fit not violating board rules...

You loved it when Williams had your defense winning the turnover battle and going for strips every play and blitzing every other play. It helped win you a SB. Now all of a sudden you distance yourselves and act like you've been unhappy with the guy for a while. That's retardedly convenient.

Sounds good to me. It's a deal! And you may be right, I can see a mention being made only because Payton isn't there. They would refer to the interim coach as replacing Payton because ...
