I'll guarantee you that Sean Payton spotted how Burleson fully extended his arm while pushing off in tape study and clued the refs before and during the game. Even the color man noted that you seldom get called for pushing off if you do it while keeping the arm bent. We all know that Roddy White, Marques Colston and Tony Gonzalez push off at times. The difference is that they can usually hide it from the officials. Saints Fan Since 1967

Looked like home-cooked drive killers to me. Now, the idiot rookie getting in fights with everybody (maybe that was the Giants game), those were easy calls. |

He got called three times and the announcers clearly pointed out how he was fully extending his arm while pushing off. The guy was an idiot by continuing to do it after he was caught doing it the first time. That is not home cooking. That is smart coaching by Payton, if he did point it out, and bad coaching by the Lions for letting it go on. Oh, and it was the Detroit game with the fighting rookie. Saints Fan Since 1967

RE: Go Dallas!
But the real question, Given that AFC Rookie of the year candidate Andy Dalton should be able to beat an Arizona team that despite its best efforts, is still the Arizona Cardinals. And the fact that to clinch home filed the Pack needs to beat a Bears team that at this point best resembles a M.A.S.H. unit.
Knowing that and Eagle win sends us to the playoffs, is it OK to think about wearing the old black number 7 during the Eagles game? ![]()
