Mularky started out with a great game plan but as all of you have noted complacency on offense will eventually cost him his job or whats worse is we will win 8 to 10 games every year and he will be here forever.....

No excuses tonight sorry. Matt wasn't under a lot of pressure tonight and he still struggle with accuracy.. Matt is not getting it done.

i agree bud but im trying to figure out what went wrong, and it seems like everything went south after that bullshit holding call during that 50 yard pass to Douglas. That call was bullshit, Mathews crying cause Clabo put him to sleep. This game was way too important for the refs to be calling that, and then watch the Oline of Gb Put their hands into our Dline face mask and watching nothing get called. Its called hand to the face for a reason.

Yeah, bullshit call. It was a hold, but very subtle and just shouldn't have been called IMO. I've seen way worse holds that weren't called.

[Image: 2menybt.jpg] Invest in the trenches with high draft picks and we will see both sides of the ball vastly improve.

There were holds against Ray Edwards multiple times, and nothing was called to our favor. Its not the Refs fault that we lost, that would be a cheap way to argue our loss, but all year they have thrown the flags on us and they haven't done the same when a penalty was against the opposing team, Look at the game against the Bucs when Freeman kicked and stepped on Edwards. There was nothing called. By the way ur video is hilarious.

100% agree

RE: Fucking idiots.
Look, Matt didn't play great, but it's not like there were plays to be made. Our Receivers were smothered in the second half. The times Julio had a one on one, Baker shit the bed, and there was no way for Matt to get the ball to him. He's not being set up for success. The moment we give up on Matt Ryan, he goes to another team and becomes our worst nightmare. This is the kind of thing that's institutional. It's the Defense, the Offense, and it's the FUCKING PUNTER.

The fact is, the coaching staffs inability to adjust at the hal has now out shadowed Matt's ability to keep us in the game. Time to change things up.

No denying it. Ryan is playing timid and has been for quite some time. He simply doesn't attack downfield inside the hashmarks when he has a WR in one-on-one coverage. Instead, he tends to just prefunctorily float it toward the sideline with the hope that maybe the receiver will be able to pull it back in bounds. A WR streaking down the left sideline should not have to look straight up and/or over his left shoulder to locate the ball. That's how hamstrings are pulled.

I really hate to say it, but the biggest problem with the offense right now is Ryan. The downfield shots are there. He needs to take them.

RE: Fucking idiots.
I am not sure what you mean cooper by that pass description are you talking about the back shoulder throw? I missed a fair portion of the game. Was it one like the one julio pulled in out of bounds last week.

I don't think Matt;s issue is making the throw its being consistent. Practice makes perfect, but what I mean by that is getting that right in games.

In years one and two Matt made daring throws over the middle but this offense and Matt have both clamped up. I am not sure if it is philosophy impeding Matt, or Matt impeding philosophy. I am inclined to argue it is the philosophy due to evidence that precedes mm in Atlanta, and the way Matt gunslinged in college.

One thing I would like to point out about the offensive mentality of this team and that of other teams. We have a former DC as our HC we are going to be different to teams like GB, no, ne, and philly who all have offensive minded guys running the show. If we bring in a new oc, we need to have someone mike can trust to let run the show on their own. We would be the reverse of teams like NO, but if we have someone who is right for us, I think we would see a difference.

Another note of merit, last year we barely saw Matt go down field long, the year before we saw it a little more and in his first year we had an offense so explosive that it was all you have to slow Atlanta down, they score on you fast and if they get going it piles on quickly. Matt was winging the ball around. But the 2 years following it has been an absent part of his game. He is a rhythm passer and that part of his game is cold to Luke warm right now. When I say deep balls I mean 20 to 30 yard range from left to right. It's coming back but it us going to take work.

What gets me most is most of the folks in Matt's back in the worst way won't eat crow when he does get it done. Nothing about this guy is a fluke but he us building. The same thing with Flacco, those guys are going to be the faces of the NFL in the next 10 or so years.

People are Dick riding cam and Stafford, cam is impressive no doubt, but it is a whole lot if work without no substance. No doubt that will change year 2 his wild yardage will come down but his wins will hopefully improve. I don't like him but I appreciate his abilites. Stafford is having his first good year and people are coveting him. Matt has a solid foundation this team has a solid foundation and we are having problems but we are trying to get rid of everything. The first and only thing that needs to change is the offense see what happens from their first, then progress as necessary this idea of capitulation is ridiculous, its not logical its not football and its the kind of thing that puts me off reading the boards because there are too many letting emotions rule their heads.
