RE: Flacco and Matt now.
The only guy that's more clutch than Matt Ryan is Matt Bryant, who is just plain money.

You need to stop your opponent at the critical time! regular season wins are also a team thing that is why I find it funny when people mention win/ loss record for Ryan . If that is a Ryan achievement his regular season record than you have to point out the flaws of his post season one ![]() I'm delusional from our playoff loss against GB . Its only a matter of time before it becomes a permanent stat. The QB is the most important player on the field regardless of the others out ther. |

That defense was held together by smoke n mirrors at the end of the season (and maybe some deer antler spray LMAO). I've read they may have to cut Boldin for cap space, rayray is done, possibly ed as well. Kruger and a few others could be gone as well. It just amazes me how many times Flacco would get it a bad situation and just throw up a jump ball for Boldin to make him look like a genius. It reminds me of what Duante Culpepper used to do with Randy Moss. ![]()

A better corner picks it off. ::cough:: Asante ::cough:: The Man In Black

I saw many throws where I said that would be an interception and then guys (mostly Boldin) would make the catch and it left me shaking my head in disbelief. Then the announcers would start talking "oh what a great throw by Flacco. He put it in a perfect spot to where only his guy could make a play on the ball." People keep talking about him having 0 interceptions but which pass defenses did he play against that were worth a damn? He had 11 TD passes. Here's where the defenses he faced ranked in giving up TD passes. Colts - 15th (23) Broncos - 17th (25) Patriots - 21st (27) 49ers - 7th (19) (And they clearly weren't the same defense in the playoffs that they were for most of the season. Ryan lit them up with almost 400 yards and 3 TD's.) People talk about Flacco being so much better than Ryan and yet Ryan had the 2nd highest QB rating in the playoffs and the 2nd most TD passes in just 2 games. Sure he had the most interceptions with 3 but he also played a game against the Seahawks good pass defense. The Seahawks had the 3rd lowest QB rating allowed and the 2nd fewest TD passes allowed. Sure Flacco had a great postseason but let's not over blow it. Especially when the same people (coughswiftcough) is bashing Ryan in the process. ![]()
