RE: First cut
IMO Davis is the one to keep.
JPW will not get it done, and Davis is showing a ton of potential. The guy threw 3 passes, 2 should have been caught. One pass had to go to the turf and on that play we saw his ability to scramble and evade being tackled. Also remember this, if your Starting QB goes down and then the back up goes down, it really does not matter who comes in because your season is over at this point You now want a guy who has Potential and he gets valuable experience . |

RE: First cut
Thing is, I haven't seen JPW progress ANY!! At least with Davis, you have the option of change, whereas JPW had that 3 years ago and nothing happened....
Cut JPW and try to develop Davis. Ignorance can be educated.....Stupidity is to the bone. |

RE: First cut
I think that most of the fan base agrees with you guys. JPW has been a disappointment and it is time to look elsewhere.
I want to see more snaps for Davis. |

RE: First cut
Redman is fine -- he was playing behind the 2nd string o-line, which had everyone last year thinking Matt Ryan had regressed. Behind the 1st line, Redman will be okay.
JPW has to go -- Davis is head and shoulders the better option right now. Even if he never gets any better (and I think he will), he's already better than a multi-year veteran who has never done a thing. |
