Fairley to start Monday for DET
I just wanted to get a little discussion on this because the Lions DL has already been pretty knocking heads with Suh at the lead. The team has had to come from behind a couple of times this season to win, which makes their offense pretty impressive as well. But to the topic at hand... If Fairley's talent translates over to the professional level, that DL is going to be an absolute nightmare. Two DTs who can beat the double team and a couple of DEs in Avril and Vanden Bosch who are looking pretty stout as well. What the hell are you supposed as an OC to do when they blitz a LB or a CB? All of the sudden a 7 man line almost looks like it might not be enough.

RE: Fairley to start Monday for DET
Is he starting? I thought he was just going to play in certain situations this weeK? Either way I can't wait to see what he does, I hope he works as hard as he did in college and has a chip on his shoulder for falling in the draft and then suffering an injury. If he lives up to his potential, the Lions just became an even more impressive team.

Either way, it will be interesting to see what happens Monday night. Could turn the Lions into THE defense to beat. This is my signature. |
