September 25, 2006 - 4 tackles and a sack

December 7th, 2008 - 7 tackles

December 27th, 2010 - Shanle had ZERO Stats

Decmber 26th, 2011 - 4 tackles

Do they give these things out to everybody??? Lol

His lack of flashy stats are what many Saints fans have disliked, while his coaches and teammates have consistently called him one of the most valuable players on the field. Stats are not everything.

Your changing story (from game balls from seasons past to how many games he started the first 8 this season) says otherwise.

But whatever -- dude is out the door, and you said it yourself. Why should anyone here give two craps what he has to say when he can't even start on a team with a losing record?

I also said on a previous post that game balls are given for the little things which means he had no major impact on the Saints team.

Practice squad players can get rings. You won't hear we gotta make sure we block that Shanle guy. Lol. He's below average and probably a smart player but he's throwing up SB rings and defensive game balls like he did something special. He just happened to be lucky that he was playing with Drew Brees.

Just like on the field he stayed in his lane....he should do the same now. Its just so professional of him to respond in that way...

He is obviously a little hurt about the inevitable release and his lack of importance on the team.
