I would love to see him come to Atlanta more than anyone outside of maybe Abraham.

NFL denied his appeal, looks like he'll be hitting the open market and will be an UFA. Bring him home TD!

Damn, this would be the big hit on defense that we need. Getting Dumdum would shut everyone up. He's that perfect tweener pass rush guy we need. Can play both 4-3 and 3-4 sets, rush or cover. Not a good tackler, but he'd have good support around him that can hopefully pick up that slack. Not to mention our offense should put us ahead of nearly everyone and keep most other teams throwing to catch up.

Come on TD! Get this one done. This is the guy that would quiet everyone. Then we draft CB/DT 1 and 2.

Elvis Dumervil would give us a monster DE in the middle of his prime which is something the Falcons haven't had since Abraham was in his prime.

The Broncos have offered him a new contract now. Looks like they reeeally want him to stay in Denver.

That's ridiculous. Now he has a 5 mil dead money cap hit for cutting him, and if they give him the 7-8 mil they were going to give him, he will still count for almost the original 12 he asked for and Elway said "you cray cray."

I figured they would just move on. I imagine Dumervil's attorney is already drafting the law suit against the former agent.

funny you should say that....Dumervil's former agent ir suing Dumervil saying he sent the contract to Dumervil 36 minutes before the deadline and Dumervil didn't sign it and get it back to him....

and yes....Dumervil's contract is shorted on the front end to make his salary low on the front side to limit the cap hit....then backend is loaded so they can have a mulligan on this year's SNAFU in a couple of years.....lol

Where are you seeing that? ESPN is reporting that Magid hired a attorney in case he gets sued, but I don't see any reports of him getting sued.

What Denver is going to do is off set the dead money from the pro rated bonus. is just offer him a signing bonus. His cap hit will be the same.

The Broncos and him agreed to a pay cut around 8 million. Right now they have 4.8 dead money from Elvis contract They will just give Elvis a 3 year deal 27 million 9 signing bonus. That means Elvis will get his 8 million signing bonus + 4 from other deal and the way it would be spread out is ..

Elvis 2013 base salary 1 million signing bonus signing bonus 3 million cap hit 4.million and + dead money it basically equals out to what they agreed upon on first place

I'm delusional from our playoff loss against GB . Don't take me seriously until year 2413 .

Radio this morning said agent had said he faxed the contract to Dumervil 36 minutes early and that Dumervil was to blame and he was going to sue for wrongful termination....or something to that respect
