I do know that if you can get 90% of your head coach without him being there then your head coach is replacable and I don't think Payton is. I can tell you that Lofton won't be any worse than Vilma in pass defense and will be a huge upgrade against the run. Vilma just hasn't been the same since his knee injury and many Saints fans have been ready to see him go based upon what he's getting paid. As for 90% of Payton, they have already got a large percentage of him for this year. He has things mapped out for the entire season. If it wasn't for him there is no way these guys could make it through the year at a high level. And the whole offensive line is good at the hold. Every o-line in the league holds on every play, but the good ones get away with it more often. As fans we always watch the ball when our team is on offense. We don't notice our own players holding. When our players are on defense we are looking at them in the replays and we see them being held. Falcons players hold all the time. All teams do. It is part of the game. Grubbs will become good at it too. Saints Fan Since 1967
