ESPN NFL Expert Picks
Decided to take a look at ESPN's NFL Expert Picks and saw that Chris Mortensen holds the best record of picking games at 167-73. That's the record I have picking games this season too.

Me - 167-73

Chris Mortensen - 167-73
Seth Wickersham - 166-74
Merrill Hoge - 158-82
Cris Carter - 157-83
Ron Jaworski - 157-83
Mark Schlereth - 155-85
Mike Ditka - 153-87
Tom Jackson - 150-90
Mike Golic - 149-91
Adam Schefter - 147-93
Keyshawn Johnson - 143-97
Eric Allen - 142-98

This isn't just a one year fluke for me picking games. I've always done pretty good picking games.

2006 - 153-114 (.573)
2007 - 164-103 (.614)
2008 - 176-91 (.659)
2009 - 170-97 (.637)
2010 - 174-93 (.652)
2011 - 181-86 (.678)
2012 - 167-73 (.696)

ESPN should hire me! Smile

RE: ESPN NFL Expert Picks
they really dont hire you because how well you pick or how educated you are about the football. They hire people who can say the most dumbfounded line, and able to create controversy, ratings.

I think Golic is great. He is one of my very favorites.

Picking winners straight up is one thing... Do that against the spread and make a living.

If they could do that they wouldn't even want the gig at ESPN.

RE: ESPN NFL Expert Picks
I'm 125-110 against the spread in or pick'em league.... even counting a few Thursday games I forgot as losses!

The one year I took a break from online sportsbook, too. Sad

I suck at picking against the spread. Ain't gonna claim to be good at it.
