Describe the indescribable
I was reading this article on FPP:
Quote:Players You Will Never Forget I thought about a conversation I had with my nephew. I was trying to describe Peter Warrick. All I could say was he was the most elusive open field runner I ever saw. Then I thought about it that is how he may see Chris Johnson, Devin Hester or Mike Vick. How does he describe Calvin Johnson to the future. So I decided to ask you guys to (in 1-2 sentences) try to describe the greatest player you ever saw. ![]()

RE: Describe the indescribable
Vick in Atlanta turned in some really memorable performances. Not pro, but Newton's season at Auburn was one for the ages. Jimmy Graham just had a helluva season for a TE.

RE: Describe the indescribable
Gayle Sayers was unstoppable against the Falcons in 66 or 67 and he was amazing! Fast and he could make a sharp cut with no loss of speed!
I love the Falcons and to hell with anyone who doesn't! |

RE: Describe the indescribable
I understand liking Troy P but Ed Reed is the best Safety I have ever seen hands down. Elite CB speed, can bait a QB and still recover to make a play better than anyone, has elite returns specialist skills, and can dominate a game playing safety the guy is incredible.

RE: Describe the indescribable
The ultimate Mike Vick play in Atlanta was this one right here.
I was a senior in high school when this happened and my dad and I went ballistic when it happened. The future seemed so bright. How would I describe this? Mike Vick had the ability to make any defense look stupid. The Man In Black

RE: Describe the indescribable
William Andrews - he could catch a pass, run OVER defenders out of just about any formation, throw a block to protect Bartkowski or spring Lynn Cain....put up amazing stats in just a very short career....yeah, to the fans who saw him, he should have been unforgettable
Chew on THAT, Petunia!

I would love to find a replay of the game against Denver where he basically crippled a DB on the way to a 70 yardish touchdown catch and run. Seeing Bo Jackson up close in person was also pretty spectacular. Interestingly, both from Auburn. |
