Had the Falcons at 10 and the Broncos at 9. Bears at 5. Yes he thinks the Broncos are better because they kept the game close at the end on the road with several turnovers. (The pot is stirred. Have fun.)

RE: Colin Cowherds top 10 teams.
Power rankings are ridiculous.

I am happy that the Falcons won last night. In the end, winning is all that counts.

Having said that, I can not say that the Falcons are any better than the Broncos. We were savvy and took advantage of the turnovers. However, if we had to play the Broncos again, can anyone truly feel that we would definitely win?

Our defense was great. It really was. Our offense was suspect. The offense barely took care of business last night. If it were not for the excellent field position offered by the interceptions, I wonder whether our offense could have marched down the field to score three times.

In four weeks, both the Broncos and the Falcons will be different teams. Attrition, development of players and modifications of strategy change teams several times over, during the course of a season.

It is up to Smith, Koetter and Nolan to continue to mold the team for the playoffs. Hopefully, the Falcons will continue to develop this exciting defense and find a way to run the ball, when it is really needed.

Colin has a point but what we all have to remember is that the Lombardi isn't given to the most talented team but rather the playoff survivor. As the Giants have proved twice now you don't have to be the best to be winners.

Also if you don't already know then you should know that Collin Cowherd is a front runner. Always has been and always will be. I once heard him say why be fans of sorry teams? Just go out and be a fan of the Yankees and Patriots and enjoy winning all the time.

I hate that people are ragging our offense. Our offense could have shot the Broncos out of the building. Mike Smith prefers low-risk/low-reward playcalling once a lead is developed, and it gets him wins (but not media fans). Can't argue with the results.

Not throwing passes means no pick-6, which is all that could have killed us with a 3-score lead in the 4th. When we needed a play, we got it, but anyone thinking Matt couldn't have put up 40 points that game without the foot off the gas hasn't watched us play.

Our offense can not reliably produce four yards, on the ground, when the defense knows we want to run. That is a problem. Hopefully, Koetter can figure out a way to make the run game work. At this time, criticism is warranted.

So did he not watch the game? If you don't think every D-coordiantor is going to run home with this tape when they play the broncos. The Seas got really wavy for the Broncos, the Falcons were daring Peyton to throw a long ball, He can't. He tried 3 times and we intercepted him 3 times. He can only throw short to intermediate. A D-con can make a defense around that.

And I said it during the preseason that Peyton can't throw deep anymore. His arm is much weaker now, not that it was ever the strongest to begin with.
