His Decision making skills are what they find questionable though.

He's not top 4 or 5 any more. Kiper says the tall kid from NC State is top QB, but none of the QB's are worth a top 1 pick right now. With an impressive senior bowl/combine one of their stock's will rise meteorically in a desperate attempt to take on #1 overall, but they'll never live up to their potential.

I agree with the stock evaluation. None of them are worth 1st overall at this point.

That would be Mike Gennon who was awful in his bowl game against Vanderbilt with 4 interceptions. This year's QB class absolutely sucks. Worst class in years and years. If I had to get a QB it most definitely wouldn't be with a 1st or 2nd in the draft. I like Ryan Nassib out of Syracuse but he shouldn't be picked any higher than the 3rd round. If I were desperate for a QB I would trade some picks for Kirk Cousins. Dude is going to be really good. Not a superstar but a very solid NFL QB.

Sounds like the 99 draft when Brady was drafted. The top QB draft choice was Chris Redman. There could be a diamond in the rough somewhere. We've had quite a few good drafts the last couple of years. It's about time for a stinker.

Brady was drafted in 2000. The 99 class was the Tim Couch, Akili Smith, Donovan McNabb class.

There is so much pressure to have a "franchise QB" that these coaches/GM's are going to be basically peer pressured into reaching in the 1st for a QB. See, e.g., Sanchez, Gabbert, Ponder.

I meant 2000, I was too lazy to look it up.

This draft is full of third round QBs, unfortunately by the time the draft rolls around a QB or two will have been hyped into the 1st round and some moron (looking at you Mike Mularkey) will burn a top pick on a mediocre QB. Wouldn't be surprised to see Geno Smith be the guy that gets Hyped into the early first, folks see a QB with speed and they tend to ignore everything else.

NFL - Chiefs and GM Scott Pioli have mutually agreed to part ways; he was team's GM for last 4 seasons

Not surprising with reid coming in
