Check out the 49'ers
If you have any doubts about what our offense needs, check out tonight's Bears/Niners game. The Niners have invested in a formidable OL. We don't have interior linemen like they have.
In my humble opinion, we don't need to draft a stud RB, we need a stud RG. A master blaster parked next to Konz would practically guarantee the return of a dominating rush offense. |

RE: Check out the 49'ers

RE: Check out the 49'ers
If the Bears don't get turnovers they are hot garbage. Their offense is terrible. I can't believe how important Cutler is.
You shut down the 49ers run and force them to play from behind they can't compete. The Rams put up 450 yards on them last week. I think its interesting that it doesn't matter who plays QB for the Niners. |

He's grabbing his trusty old #3 jersey and heading out into the brisk Oregon evening. "Hey Pa want a catch," Lil Joey calls out into the mist. "Sure son," the old man says running towards his son. Then in a moment of pure horror Joey curls up into the fetal position and lays on the ground sobbing. "No more blitz," he calls out into the air. "No more..." |

I'd like a new T prospect, too. I like Holmes, but we need some competition. It wouldn't hurt to do what I've been saying for months and months now and put Reynolds back at his natural T position. I think he's too tall and upright to play G (though Johnson was drafted as a G and he's only 1" shorter than Reynolds and a few pounds lighter). |

RE: Check out the 49'ers
Konz is probably our starting Center next season. We need to draft a Master Blaster to play to his right. Alternatively, we can draft a RT and move Clabo in. Either way, we need to have a right side of the line that can open holes for our RB's.
Reynolds looks like a back up, to me. |

The Bears offense wasn't exactly great when Cutler was in there. Cutler's stats - 151/255 (59.2%), 1814 YDS (7.1), 12 TD, 10 INT - 80.4 QB Rating ![]()

TD and Co. saw him him as a G and drafted him to play that position. Was he the best C in that draft class? Yes, but he was drafted to play G. There are going to be some pissed off people next year when TC rolls around and Hawley is starting at C and Konz at RG. |
