Can't sleep so I decided to read over the Chargers message board to see what they thought of the Falcons before the game and what they think of us now and came across this post that was made before the game.

It's like they judged our team on last year. Not on what has been going on the last few weeks. That should have warned them our defense was not going to be a cake walk

Yeah Im surprised at the lazy ignorance. Its the armchair GM/Coach/Player mentality. Thing for people like that. After talking all that shit. When your team gets taken to the woodshed by said shit team what does that say about y'all then.

I think it's clear by now, we can put up points as and when we want to. but being up as we were why tire our your team and risk injuries all for the sake of statistics.

Well I'd say their more than ready to sub in for Chris Carter and crew on ESPN countdown. They've certainly put in the same amount of preparatory work and drawn the same lazy conclusions.

Most people only watch their team and highlights/pundits on ESPN/NFLN. Hell, most pundits don't even watch many games; which is why we sometimes underestimate opponents and sports media is below par.

I am sure that their fans expected the Chargers to continue to move the ball at will against us, but the vast majority of them had no clue that our offensive and defensive schemes changed completely in the offseason. Now they do know (it was mentioned a few times during the game) and they are not happy about it.

Either way, those AFC West guys now understand that relying on pundits and previous seasons to judge a football team is not a good idea. We have dominated that entire division this season (Oakland will probably be ugly too) and quickly let their fanbases know that we are not fucking around.
