NFL: Cedric Benson released from Jail early

I got a feeling this won't be the last time he goes to prison.

Cedric Benson is a complicated case. He has anger management issues and self control issues. But he also has a good heart, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to doing the right thing, even when doing the right thing amounts to nothing more than making up for having done the wrong thing. Consequently, we see a lot of yo-yo behavior. One hopes to see it all end on an upswing, but that seems unlikely. The NFL really is a better place for him than jail, but once his career is over, there may be only one option left.
