I wouldn't even give him that. He changed his name to "8-5" Not "85". Apparently Chad didn't complete Spanish in high school!

here is my take. The league is win now league. The raiders are trying to win now.

people comment on their giving they 1 and 2 round picks, but if you look at the ir roster of their current team they have collected a bunch of #1 draft choice guys who have resurrected their careers.

i think it was a great trade. hue and CP go back since USC, hue knows his tendencies and CP knows the verbage and system.

great move by oakland.

also less than we gave up for julio

He was with a terrible franchise from top to bottom. I respect his decision to leave by any means necessary. He still has some good years left in him and perhaps can succeed with the Raiders.

I would not bet on them making a fluid turnaround but it would be nice to see some competitiveness out in the AFC west. The Chargers have had a stranglehold out there for far too long. I think Carson Palmer is a quality QB and if put in the right situation could make a bad team better.

rnb i agree, also carson is frm the general area, so he is home sort of. Carson may never be the qb he was prior to the knee injury, but he does possess every tool needed to succeed as a qb, and he does throw a nice deep ball. I think he is an upgrade over campbell and might help propel them to the next level.

Nope, this move proves that Al Davis is dead as much as a picture of his crypt keeper corpse would. It cant be a coincidence that this move was made right after he died. Palmer's 40 time is slower than the connector at 5. Al never would have tolerated that. (It also means Pryor has not made much progress learning the offense)
