What I find sad is there isn't even a question of guilt. Everyone has admitted to everything, there is no questions of guilt and no questions the Saints lied after being caught to try and stonewall the NFL's investigation. So they are guilty they admit it, they also admit they lied when they were first being investigated. AND STILL the fans and players are acting shocked and saying the punishment is to harsh etc. Look at the Saints Report forum those people are on crack and have a serious persecution complex.

Saints fans and Saints franchise you know your team was doing bad and illegal things according to NFL rules you know your franchise lied about it and tried to stop a proper investigation. YOUR whole franchise is admittingly guilty as sin, Deal with your punishment like a man stop being in denial.

This will not be appealed, repealed or anything else of that nature. It will however, get much much worse with up to a possible 22- 26 player suspensions. This is only the beginning.

The more I think about it the more I doubt they can appeal. The appeal process normally goes through the union. Coaches and admins don't have unions. This is why the NFL and nflpa are working out the player suspensions together.

At the very least I hope this puts an end to the Katrina REFS. The Saints will lose 2 more games a year just because of that fact alone

I've gone back a couple of times now and rewatched games/highlights from the bounty-gate time period and it's disgusting. It's so blatantly obvious that the Saints were taking cheap shots at people, and also that the refs were doing nothing about it. I honestly think that's going to be one of the biggest changes next season, the Saints may suddenly start getting flagged for all those penalties they were getting away with.

You mean the time when we had Brees on a safety and they didn't call it correctly? That's just homer refs is all.
I had a discussion on B&G about that and half the people agreed it should have been a safety.

Yes that one sticks out bad, it was a safety, it was called a safety then they picked up the flag and made some BS rule about a screen pass that didn't even exist. One of the most blatant examples of Katrina REFS at work.

Seriously EVERY single Saints fan go royally go fuck yourself, I hope your ignorant cheating franchise gets regulated to the Arena league.

They and Brees are demanding a BETTER explanation for why the penalties were so harsh on the Saints.

When I was talking to my father and mentioned these same things last night, he had the exact same reaction.

He also thinks teams should start taking cheap shots at the Saints now, but I disagree, I think the NFL will be watching those games very closely and that you will see more fines originate from games involving the Saints.

I hope the other 31 teams target the Saints and every player on their roster for the crap they pulled the last 3 years. I hope they go 0-16 and end up with 35 players on IR including Brees.

The audacity of Brees to demand a better explanation after he obviously knew what was going on is just a fucking insult to the league. Brees who preaches player safety etc. Hey Brees fuck you to I hope you get on IR the first week of the season.
