RE: Before final game, Gregg Williams urged Saints to injure 49ers
All that and they still lost the game.
Funny how they got beat because the D got out run by Alex Smith. That speedster. If Williams had spent more time on conditioning his D rather than paying them off they wouldn't have run out of gas against the 49ers this year and the Seahawks last year. The D let them down in both games because they were spent by the 4th quarter. |

RE: Before final game, Gregg Williams urged Saints to injure 49ers
Wow! This Sean Pamphilon guy is actually saying that Gregg Williams WAS ordered to stop what he was doing and he ignored the order.
Quote:Among Pamphilon’s observations are that Williams, in the opinion of Pamphilon, isn’t the only coach who has encouraged players to hurt opponents, but he maybe the only one who wouldn’t stop even after he had been warned that he had to. He also defends the players: Quote:“It’s a cowards play to send someone off to do your malicious bidding. I’m sure many of his players would have told him this if they weren’t scared to lose their jobs or look like bitches in front of their teammates. Or if they weren’t 25 and couldn’t possibly have a fully developed perspective on life.” Saints Fan Since 1967

Tru Dat by Sean Pamphilon
Tru Dat
This is the 6000 word statement that accompanied the tape released by Pamphilon. Please take the time to read it. Gregg Williams completely threw the Saints under the bus to try to cover for himself. Saints Fan Since 1967

Holy crap. Still. Everyone just needs to leave it alone, it's getting old. We get it. The Saints cheated, Greg Williams is a dirtbag, etc. etc. Fucking pathetic we have more New Orleans threads on this damn forum than we do Atlanta Falcons threads. Getting old, fast.
And I love that every Saints fan tries to defend their franchise in the same exact way. The Saints cheated, and they did it by trying to cause injuries with money rewards.

The fact is that this gives the basis for a reduction of the suspensions of Payton and Loomis and greatly lowers the potential blow to the players.

Clearly Payton and Loomis got off lightly for failing to deal with this matter. Sick. |
