NFL: Before final game, Gregg Williams urged Saints to injure 49ers

If Williams had spent more time on conditioning his D rather than paying them off they wouldn't have run out of gas against the 49ers this year and the Seahawks last year.

The D let them down in both games because they were spent by the 4th quarter.

Wow! This Sean Pamphilon guy is actually saying that Gregg Williams WAS ordered to stop what he was doing and he ignored the order.

And I love that every Saints fan tries to defend their franchise in the same exact way. The Saints cheated, and they did it by trying to cause injuries with money rewards.

The fact is that this gives the basis for a reduction of the suspensions of Payton and Loomis and greatly lowers the potential blow to the players.

The report has no information suggesting that Gregg Williams threw the Saints under the bus other than Sean's statement at the end stating that he believes that he did.

Clearly Payton and Loomis got off lightly for failing to deal with this matter.
