Whether or not that was the right move is up for debate, but that's why he did it, plain and simple. Duh, but why did he think that? Kaepernick can make throws that Alex can't and puts more pressure on the opposing defense, but he is less experienced and thus more likely to make big mistakes and/or screw up when the clock is winding down and so net net that is a wash. Meanwhile did he consider that benching the voted team captain might affect team morale? How about the fact that his players would see this as punishing a player for getting hurt? It doesn't add up and so my 'explanation', which admittedly was a bit tongue in cheek, has to be considered. Harbaugh doesn't want to win with a guy he didn't have a hand in selecting. He wants more control over team personnel and this move was designed to get it. In other words, it really is all about Harbaugh. |

Apparently winning close games is worse then losing close games in overtime. Fucking doosh bag sports pundits.

What happened to SF and CHI really screwed up the talking points.
Now they can only talk about how good GB has been recently. Their hopes lie on the Giants winning tomorrow night so they can crown them.

They allowed 200 yards rushing to one player. Even at their worst the Falcons never came close to that. As for Kaepernick what kinds of throws can he make that Smith can't? I hear this all the time but I don't see it. In four games, 3 starts, he has 680 yards 3 TDs 1 Int His first game the fill in against the Rams he could not put them away in OT. He played great against the Bears, but the Niners D held them to 143 total yards. He needed two pick 6s against Saints. And today they lost because once again he could not put he Rams away. With out great performances from the D, and they have to be great, Kaepernick can't win. The media crowned him the next Tom Brady last week. What will they say this week? There was an article I saw on line about how Kaepernick showed up on Monday, even though the team had the day off, and was outside running with weights. The writer talked about how amazing it is that he was working so hard. Shouldn't he, as QB, been in the film room rather than practicing his running? Come on its the Rams. Who now hold the tiebreaker over the Niners. The Niners were considered unbeatable at the beginning of the year. Now they are in trouble of dropping to a Wild Card. What will the media say when the Redskins win tomorrow night? |

I thought he was dead wrong for fucking up the chemistry in the locker room...that and I don't think Kapernick is worth 2 shits.....but that is my opinion....i thought the bears win was luck and the Bears Defense having an offnight.....the difference between the bears and us......we find ways to get back into and win those games where someone is off.....I am just waiting for all of our game to click at once...that will be a beautiful thing..... |
