You have the stress of having thousands of employees and their families all affected by each decision you make for that company. It is way more than the athletes here, you have admins, camera crews, IT, etc. You and your family have to deal with major public scrutiny for every decision you make. You also have to be really talented and experienced in your own right to get the position in the first place (in most cases). Not to mention the amount of hours somebody has to put into their career to get where they are at. I bet if you worked 3000 hours a year for 20 years to become the head of the company you worked for, you would probably want at least 1-3% of the revenues that you helped earn the company as its leader. But then that means you would earn over $100 million a year as the commissioner and people would complain about you. I understand what you're saying but to me it's insane to make that much money in a year. I don't care if you're curing cancer. I can't even imagine what it would be like to even have the interest off that kind of money. ![]()
