Raiders look pretty terrible.

Yep, going to be embarrassing if Jax beats the breaks off em and we barely squeaked out with a W, sure the talking heads will use this at some point or another.

Of course they will because all of their analysis is done in a vacuum. You know the same logic used in college that could crown The Citadel national champs because they beat Team A who beat Team B who at some point was in a movie with Kevin Bacon.

Now the question I ask, was the fact that they gave us a strong run for our money (and almost won) because they had 2 weeks to prepare?

I don't understand why people can't give the Raiders credit for playing a near perfect game against the Falcons.

I still think that's a big part of it, they had a chance to gameplan and throw things at us we hadn't seen on film.

Have people also considered the fact that the Raiders gave it their all, and still lost, thereby letting the air out of the team....otherwise they had a hangover from the fact they tried so hard and still got a L.

Ignorance can be educated.....Stupidity is to the bone.

Near perfect? They had over 100 yards in penalties lol. They prepared well, we under estimated them. I could tell we thought we were going to throw all over them. Ryan was just flinging it with no worries.

Aside from the penalties, Carson Palmer and the Raiders played about as perfect a game as they could (for their talent level) and it still wasn't enough to beat the Falcons.
