Adrian Peterson
That 82 yard run. The knee recovery. My goodness. He's reaching some rarefied air, what do you guys think of AP in terms of against history, like sanders, Payton, smith, Dickerson? Where's he at right now and what does he have to do to climb higher? And could he be/is he one of the best ever? Makes for interesting convo.

RE: Adrian Peterson
I think I pissed off a date in 2007 when he almost fell to us. I walked away from the table to see if he fell past the Vikings. There were no further dates and we didn't get AP.

I wanted him then, I had a feeling he'd be special, but nothing like this.

Ha! Probably not, I've never seen anything like this man. Defenses know he is all Minnesota has and they're still winning. Solely because of him. I tore my knee up like that when I was 18. Needless to say I didn't challenge Eric dickersons hallowed rushing record. Lol Big Grin

You should have tried harder.

Seriously he shredded that knee. There was talk about whether he would ever play again. He is creeping up on that 30 wall though. With his injuries he might start to slide soon. Either way he breaks this record he is a lock for the Hall.

RE: Adrian Peterson
He's got Houston the #1 rush D next week then GB the #15 in the last week. Both teams will be playing for playoff spots so my guess is he will hit some stiff competition.

He keeps dropping 200 a game on them and I'll be sold for sure.
