McClure is one of the best centers in the NFL and one of the all time great Falcons. If he doesn't retire resign him.

Peterson might retire

Long term, C is our biggest issue, as Hawley wasn't all that impressive when he did play, and isn't doing much at guard either. Hopefully Mike Johnson can step in and play well at RG.

Hasn't Johnson been injured all year? Or who was it?

Hawley had a rough first game but has improved and is our best RG right now. He'll be fine at center.

Our O line has been very good over the past 5 games. Stability is the key. We locked up Blalock and Claybo long term. We need 3 more to secure the rest of the spots. It think we are almost there.

Yea, and at this moment, seems Blalock and Clabo are our weakest links.

I just dont see what has ppl low on Hawley... One game vs a probowl DT playing the guard position cant do that... The guy has played good besides that game to me.... He looks like our future C

I'm convinced people have Hawley mixed with Reynolds, who was terrible at guard, or they're lumping some clabo miscues with Hawley

I mean have Hawley made a couple of mistakes... Yea he has... But over all the guy has been good for a first year starter with potential to get better.... I think they are judging this guy off the Vikings rough outing he had.
